Caro + Andi
An unusual wedding location, a great couple, wonderful weather and lots of fun. Thats how I remember the autumn wedding of Caro + Andi in Salzburg.
Located in the area of Lungau, Burg Finstergrün isn’t actually as old as one might think, the bigger, modern part was built in 1908 and is now mainly used as a youth hostel.
Since Caro spent lots of her childhood here she knew this was THE place for her wedding. Luckily most guests arrived a day early, so there was enough time for everyone to find their room in the castle with all its nooks and crannies.
Because I got to know Caro and Andi through former clients which were also around for the wedding I really enjoyed the time catching up with all of them! After a nice campfire and marshmallows in the evening everyone was excited and looking forward to the next day!
After a relaxed breakfast everybody got ready for the ceremony so I got my cameras and headed to the bridal party.
After that it was a bit tricky to find the groom, since the room was hidden all the way up in the attic.
The ceremony took place in the middle of the castle yard, surrounded by all of their friends and family.
After everybody got a piece of cake we headed out into the lovely evening light for the couples portraits. I just loved this scenery, interesting textures, fresh greens, awesome autumn light, heaven.
Later everybody came togther in the great hall for dinner, and dancing. Obviously ;)
A huuuge thank you to Caro + Andi, it was amazing to be a part of your celebration!
